Foie gras: Fred Velez Blows his nose in Oregon.

First visit to Portland Oregon. Although too in raptured in the moment and forgetting my camera 95% of the time to capture all the highlights (which were far too many) here is a small, sweet fraction of the city i am planning to call home.. Fuck. and i miss it.

My fish died unexpectedly yesterday. It sucked. But a friend cheered me up with this little poem:

Here is a memorial poem for fish.

Fish was not quite a fish of old
His scales were red, his attitude cold
His death unexpected
From an aquatic plant infected

Fish friend to Fred
A chum whose silence lead
To many a quiet evening near the bed
Even though you are dead
Your memory will live on in film and photo
Let's hope your heaven is a large puddle in Kyoto
Where many a lady is to be found
Unlike in the glass vase you used to swim around
